At the end of last year, Loongson released a new generation of Godson 3a4000 and 3b4000 series processors in Beijing, which improved the performance by 100% under the same process at 28nm. This year, Loongson will launch the next generation of Loongson 3A / 3b5000 series. Among them, the Loongson 3a5000, which is facing the desktop field, will soon be taped, and its single core performance will be improved by 50%.

Recently, Loongson official micro revealed the situation of the new generation processor, pointing out that the next generation of ls3a5000 / 3c5000 is under design, and the quad core ls3a5000 is expected to be taped soon. Through the process update, the ls3a5000 will further improve its performance on the basis of ls3a4000 pin level compatibility. The single core performance will be further improved by 50%, reaching the international mainstream level, and the power consumption will be further reduced.

According to previous news, Loongson 3a5000 is a new generation of desktop processor. It is planned to chip in 12NM process in the first half of 2020. Each chip contains four cores, and the main frequency is 2.5GHz. The single core performance will reach about 30 minutes.

Loongson 3c5000 is a new generation of server processor. It is planned to produce chips in the second half of 2020. It adopts 12NM process, and each chip contains 16 cores. It supports 4-16 channels of servers, and has the commercial competitiveness of high-end servers.

At the end of last year, Godson launched a new generation of Godson 3a4000 / 3b4000 series processor in Beijing, using the same 28nm process as the previous generation product 3a3000 / 3b3000, using the new generation processor core gs464v developed by godson, with the main frequency of 1.8ghz-2.0ghz. The fixed-point and floating-point single core scores of spec cpu2006 are more than 20 points, more than twice that of the previous generation.
